The Argonaut continues to be the flagship of the Kauer Guitars family. The Argonaut features a fully carved (internally and externally) Eastern Maple front and back plates attached to a hollow Spanish Cedar core. Completely hollow save for a block directly under the bridge and tailpiece to join the front and back together the Argonaut harkens back to the best laminated semi hollows.
Want a different flavor? Skip the maple and order an all Spanish Cedar Argonaut. With a stronger midrange and less weight, the all Spanish Cedar Argonauts are Doug Kauer's personal favorite.
