Dealer Terms and Conditions:

Here at Kauer with our relatively limited production numbers we try to keep both a realistic buy in and stocking requirement that works both for us and our dealers.

New Dealer Requirements:

• Physical OPEN TO THE PUBLIC store required.

• FIVE Guitar minimum buy in order. That can be split between custom specifically spec’d orders or from our standing inventory. Given the diversity of our lineup five is a decent baseline for most new stores.

• Initial orders require a 500 dollar deposit per guitar OR at least one purchase from inventory at dealer rate. (We much prefer the second option).

• Our discount rate is a fixed 35%. MAP / MSRP is the prices our website reflects with some upcharges being fixed charges (gold hardware, bigsbys etc)

• Dealers who fail to pay or communicate in a timely manner be required to pay orders in advance or will be limited to Ready-to-Ship purchases only. Payment is required at the completion of the order (no net terms).

• No exclusives.

  Established Dealers / Yearly Continuation

• No deposits* required after the initial five orders, no minimum orders. (*exceptions may apply for extremely specialized orders)

• All Kauer dealers are required to maintain at least 3 guitars in inventory (or at least on order). Our goal is to make sure you have a steady flow thru so if models are selling, please reorder them! Don’t wait for the entire stock to sell.

• Dealers without any additional orders in a year or repeated MAP/MSRP violations may be dropped.

• Social Media / Promotion: Out of an effort of fairness, we will always share any social media you tag us or otherwise include us in but we aren’t responsible for generating content or promoting on a stores behalf (outside of us their completed orders as we post them). We’re ALWAYS up for ways to work together on promotions, social media so please always reach out.
