Our instruments are designed and hand-built in a family-owned and run shop here in Elk Grove, California. We mix traditional building techniques materials along with modern technology to create unique and great sounding guitars. To satisfy our own pursuit for tone led us to the finest pickup winders. We strive to build beautiful instruments, but we recognize that musical instruments are ultimately tools – so in addition to having unequaled looks and sound, Kauer guitars are extraordinary comfortable and easy to play.
